This project came to Six Point PIctures by way of Kirby Griffin. He served as the director for this project. I was honored to be the man behind the camera for him. Kirby is a friend and a colleague I am always happy to step up and make something happen for my people. It’s so funny how my work always reconnects me with good people. I met the Sophia featured in this piece in my studio for an event years before we showed up for this shoot. That alone meant I was in the right place. Every shoot I like to try something new. I shot this on the Tribe 7 Black Wing lenses. If the shoot had fewer strings attached to it Kirby and I might have been able to cut loose and try some more creative approaches. Nevertheless, I think that it came out great and I look forward to another opportunity to create with friends.
