Description

The AFRO American Newspaper is one of the oldest print publications in the country and the oldest African-American publication running to this day! I was happy to be a part of a project that helped to promote who they are and what they have done for the city for so long. I have grown up with this paper. I saw it every morning on my way to school as I waited for the bus inside the gas station store on winter days. This project was shot on the RED Komodo 6k and I filmed it with my LOMO Super Speed set of lenses. This was my first shoot with the lenses and I was excited to test their limits. I love the close focus on these lenses. They are not very well known. There are only a few places in America where you can rent them and Six Point Pictures is one of them.
